The next day he used that cell phone to call himself a cab. What he didn’t know was that the phone he stole belonged to a cabdriver for the very cab company he called. The phone operator recognized the cabbies name on caller ID, and, being aware of the break-in, dispatched the cops rather than a cab. He’s busted.
